Back in the BKC writing mode, 101st Airborne for Normandy

https://www.wargamevault.com/product/327653/BKCA50-American-101st-Airborne-Division-Normandy-June-1944

inlcudes known Corps attachments for the ground fighting during June 1944, an alternative layout for an artillery battalion with no guns, and the enigmatic "Provisional Airborne Naval Shore Fire Control Parties"....

Next batch of requested lists, here we have the German forces of 7th Army defending the Westwall in September 1944:

BKCG52: German 1st SS Panzer Division Leibstandarte, NW Europe, September 1944
BKCG53: German Kampfgruppe Milius, 12th SS Panzer Division, NW Europe, September 1944
BKCG54: German 2nd SS Panzer Division, NW Europe, September 1944 (double list)
BKCG55: German 2nd Panzer Division, NW Europe, September 1944 (double list)
BKCG56: German 172nd Infantry Division, NW Europe, September 1944 (double list)
BKCG57: German 183rd Volksgrenadier Division, Aachen, September 1944
BKCG58: German 49th Infantry Division, NW Europe, September 1944
BKCG59: German 246th Volksgrenadier Division, NW Europe, September 1944
BKCG60: German 12th Infantry Division, NW Europe, September 1944
BKCG61: German 275th Infantry Division, NW Europe, September 1944 (double list)
BKCG62: German 353rd Infantry Division, NW Europe, September 1944
BKCG63: German 347th Infantry Division, NW Europe, September 1944
BKCG64: German 36th Grenadier Division, NW Europe, September 1944
BKCG65: German 89th Infantry Division, NW Europe, September 1944
BKCG66: German Kampfgruppe von Hauser, Panzer Lehr Division, NW Europe, September 1944
BKCG67: German 5th Fallschirmjager Division, NW Europe, September 1944

If you're fed up of uber Germans with high CV and high tech equipment, some of these lists will be the antidote you need. There's even a CV6 unit in there somewhere. Russians, Luftwaffe, pensioners with rifles, Fortress Battalions, Landesschutzen battalions (Landwehr), all fun stuff. The SS and Panzer units were a shadow of their former selves, here we have Panzer Regiments that have 3 model tanks. Smiley

I think from summer '44 onwards,
some of the Volksgrenadier units were better equipped than the regular Army units.
due to the Nazi Hierarchy losing faith in the regular Army, (and in some cases the SS units)
a lot of the Volks units were 'sponsored" by the Gauleiters and so got extra weapons.
regards
