Fred, I now use Ronseal filler for all my figure bases, so it was the first think I looked to to use in this project.

I sanded the plastic base first to give a key and it seems to 'stick' to it fine.

Thanks Norm. I quite often use ronseal filler for figure bases, for some reason it hadn't occurred to me to use it for terrain bases.

Sanding sounds a good idea, plastic card is very shiny!
