Yeah, okay, a low priority one, but only the Germans seem to get the love with the bikes.
Ideally some Airborne motorcyclists (Welbikes?), but anything to be honest. I blame Two Fat Lardies for putting motorbikes in the recon sections!

(On an unrelated note, bicycle infantry for French and Germans for Early war would be hilarious very useful.)

There are British WWI BP54 Motorcycle with sidecar (3) & French WWII FRE48 Motorcycle Troops, mounted (3) combat motorcycles

There are also a WWII & Italian and and Soviet WWII despatch motorcyclists

You mean like GRF71 Infantry pushing loaded bicycle (5) (formerly code GR45) in the German WWII range ;) :)

Steve McQueen on one of those Wehrmacht issue Triumphs.

If you can tell it's Steve McQueen in 10mm your eyesight is better than mine :)

The Germans have dumped their motorbikes by early 1942.  :'(

The Kradshutzen bttns are all disbanded and personnel absorbed. The bikes are relegated to couriers and the odd recce company in the recce bttn.

Push bikes are just for a bit more mobility to get TO the battle, not to ride IN the battle. Jerry famously took thousands of bikes off the Dutch civilians to this end. In Hackett's "I was a stranger" (about his time as an escapee evader in the Netherlands) the Germans search a house for bikes which has already been picked clean. BUT one proud Jerry does take a pair of roller skates! Now THAT would be a figure to have.  ;)

If we ever get 10mm Volksturm, perhaps we could have a Volksturm Panzerjager

I was more meaning the unsidecar'd dispatch motorbikes (and presumably Wellbikes) that the Lardies have put in the Recon Company for British Airborne.

'ik wil mijin fiets terug' or "Mijn opa wil zijn fiets terug". I /My Grandpa want the bike back.

There's also the WW1 despatch rider - WW1 under WW1 Miscellaneous

Actually, I read that one of the famous German tankers used a motor bike to perform a recon and to try to reach another unit shortly after the D-Day landings, so people were still using them in the German army fairly late into the war.

That was a M/C without a sidecar, IIRC, but I'd like to see both ones with and without sidecars produced.

Sunray

Irregular Miniatures do a couple of hairy bikers - one pillion passenger toting an RPG7 - in the modern 10mm bushwar range.

From the image it is probably too modern for WW2, but perhaps the single biker figure's machine  could be modified  to a WW2 look ??

How can you mention bicycles without mentioning Belgium (and Italy)?

Yes agreed, but it's not a unit on motor bikes. That's one bloke with a motorbike. They did still use them for couriers, but not for whole m/c bttns like they had in 1939-41

The solution for a German motorbike is simple. Get the pendraken set and don't add the side car?
