An AAR can be found on my Blog of a rather bizarre game I played a few days ago:

Great AAR, Steve.

Nice looking game too.

I particularly like the Alcione* - lovely model. Where's it from?

*My understanding is that Alcione means Kingfisher. Surely that would have been a better name for a nimble fighter ... not a lumbering beast the the 1007?

I bought it from a small company in the South of England a few years ago, that specialised in die cast models. Can't remember the name I'm afraid, but a search online shows them as still being available from ebay, Amazon etc.

Interesting.

Thanks.

I shall have a look.

Got to have a target for those Bofors.

There's lots of really nice stuff out there for not too bad prices. Some are a tad high though, so I tend to go with what I like the look of, rather than being perfectly accurate. A bomber is a bomber afterall in BKCII.

Lovely looking table and miniatures

Take care
