VM 37 - crew block for LVT - dimensions ?

One for Leon or Matt J (love your paint work Matt)- or indeed any forum member who has one.

I spied the crew block, and had an idea that it might be cut/filed/snipped to fit other open topped vehicles/lorries/APCs.   The US style helmet allows a lot of proxy applications.

The dimensions, (width x length) would be much appreciated .

14mm x 24mm (ish). But its a fair sized block, not sure cutting down is workable.

First, thank you very much for the very prompt and detailed reply.

Yes, it is indeed a fair sized block.  Crew blocks from other manufactures like Pithead tend to be more token in sculpt.
For M3 Half Track or BTR 152 - or indeed lorry minus tilt (Zil 151 etc) it would at least need to lose a row of heads !

Anyway, I will use your dimensions to identify a few potential host vehicles.  And try a possible conversion.
The other option is to use the new "head & shoulders" sculpts (KBR42 etc) and mount a few on card/balsa to fit the vehicle.
