Has anyone ever pondered Target priorities?

Targeting the distant Firefly seems a bit cheesy when the other Shermans are so close.

Yes its a bit tricky.

Correct tactics for a Sherman platoon was for the Firefly to stay back and cover the 75's who worked their way round the enemy flank.  So as the German commander you have to decide who is the most dangerous - A 75mm Sherman on your flank 300 yards away or the Firefly 1000 yards away who can only hit your thickest armour?

But I agree you have the same problem with infantry stands, should you be able to pick off all the heavy weapons first?

Always honour the greatest threat, THAT YOU CAN SEE. Target priorities are notoriously difficult to write, having tried several times. An SFMG will be visible for miles due to firing 4 BIT, (4 ball 1 Trace) so you could target it. A firing AT gun may or may not be visible, depending on it's muzzle flash. I suspect we should leave the priority rues out.
