3) Did you feel comfortable with the ruleset? Yes
4) and... was this the first time you used this ruleset? Not a bit of it
5) How many players were in the game? two
6) What went well? Prussian musketry and getting there when they were needed
7) What could have been improved? - Wretched melee and artillery rolls.

1) What ruleset did you use in your last game? Ronin
2) What armies were fighting? - Sohei vs Sohei
3) Did you feel comfortable with the ruleset? Bit rusty but I got there
4) and... was this the first time you used this ruleset? No
5) How many players were in the game? Two
6) What went well? Teaching my son the rules ... and pretty much everything he did thereafter!
7) What could have been improved? - I could have won one initiative roll, that would have been nice Smiley He chose the order of things in every turn and struck first in every combat.

I bought a pile of "Ninja All Stars" chibi ninja second hand because I liked the sound of the game and also liked the figures but the combat rules were awful (IMHO) so I switched to "Ronin" instead. We stat the ninja as factions from the rules, not ninja.

Couple of pictures of the action. Translucent skulls are light wounds, cream skulls are serious wounds, white tokens are stun and red tokens are dead body markers.

1) What ruleset do you use in your last game? Honours of War
2) What armies were confronted? 1759 Austria vs Prussia,  (Zinna, a scenario from the forum HoW)
3) Did you feel comfortable with the ruleset? yes.
4) and... was this the first time you used this ruleset? No
5) How many players were in the game? 2
6) What went well? The game was fine.
7) What could have been improved - A very tough scenario for the austrians. I should have rotate the map 90 on the side to gain more space.

I like this picture :

1) What ruleset did you use in your last game? Black Powder 2nd edition with Glory Hallelujah supplement
2) What armies were fighting? - ACW uninion and confederate
3) Did you feel comfortable with the ruleset? Yes
4) and... was this the first time you used this ruleset? No
5) How many players were in the game? Solo
6) What went well? The chaos that the order system throws up made for dynamic play.
7) What could have been improved? - my own fault, poor tactics and some unlucky dice when attacking a building ended really badly for the attackers.

6) What went well? From my point of view, just that Lee is very pleased to have clobbered me.
7) What could have been improved? - Not having an Austrian off-table flank march turn up in my rear and kill Frederick, causing a general collapse of morale.

1) What ruleset did you use in your last game? Sell Swords and spell slingers
2) What armies were fighting? - our band of plucky adventurers vs {checks scenario} everybody from the look of it
3) Did you feel comfortable with the ruleset? Yes
4) and... was this the first time you used this ruleset? Not a bit of it
5) How many players were in the game? two Me and Sunjester
6) What went well? FIREBALL
Calm down Eddie.
Also it turns out a really good way to annoy the Ranger is for the dwarf to find the path leading out of the wood. And for the elf to find the short cut.
7) What could have been improved? - not enough undead for Brother Christos

1) What ruleset did you use in your last game? Volley & Bayonet Wing scale Indian Mutiny variant (pulled together from a couple of local Colonial variants)
2) What armies were fighting? - Loyalists v Muntineers
3) Did you feel comfortable with the ruleset? Yes
4) and... was this the first time you used this ruleset? First & second time testing this variant
5) How many players were in the game? one
6) What went well? the variant seemed to work pretty well, both games played differently as both sides used different tactics
7) What could have been improved? - not a lot so far, I need to try a different scenario
