1809 Brunswick hussars

Way back in 2014 and before Pendraken issued models in the 1812-15 range, there was a discussion about suitable figures for Brunswickers involved in the 1809 campaign in Germany. I would like a unit of Brunswick Hussars, but I understand they did not wear the pelisse until they entered English service. If this is right and since I like a bit of accuracy as much as I hate painting pelisses, I wonder if anyone can suggest an alternative model. All advice gratefully received.
