Sorry Will, he set you up for that. :D

Excellent stuff! Quite a flotilla you have there!

Assembled a couple of 1/600 HDMLs today. Not quite such an impressive start as yours :-)

Has anyone actually played this game as yet?  :-

I had been tempted, on the assumption that it might be a fun whizz-bang beer n'pretzels type game ("What a Sopping Wet Tanker"?) but then I saw some errata posted online which suggested there were well over 100+ pages of rules... which kinda put me right off !

Fancy a Devon holiday this year? Why not try The Captains Cottage, Brixham?

Played a few two player games. I have the rulebook but not the rest of the gubbins and am using 1/600 scale ships.

All of the models I have at the moment are too shallow draught to be affected by torpedoes so we've ignored them meantime.

The rules themselves seem pretty straightforward (assuming we're getting them right!) and so far have given a fast, fun, "two dimensional aerial dogfight" type of game.

The basic rules are half a dozen pages including artwork and diagrams. The advanced rules probably double that.

Does seem more fun than accuracy focussed and seems to me there are some strange decisions in the army (navy?) lists.

Last I saw, the errata was already on v1.1 which tells you something about the product.

I think that it would be a great multiplayer game down the club or participation game at a show.

I don't regret the purchase of the rules or the decision to go Tumbling Dice/ Ros & Heroics 1/600 rather than 1/300.

More inspiration, this time an official wartime British ministry production.
