Had the best news possible today in that I had a clear surgical margin on all of the stuff removed recently, which is medical speak that I'm free of cancer :). Also the catheter came out this morning which is great, so I can move around more freely and will certainly be able to sleep better; well other than having to go to the loo several times in the night ;)!

Great news.

The catheter caused me more pain than all the other things combined, even the surgery cuts. Glad it is out.

I am 11 months further down that road and have been given the all clear during the summer.

I get my 1 year follow on CT scan in a couple of months.

Thanks chaps :).

Jim I agree that the catheter was the most uncomfortable thing out of the whole process. I have 3 month follow ups for the first year, then not sure after that. Glad that all is still clear for you :).

Probably annual after that, that's what I get now.
