Thanks, guys!  And yes, it certainly did! The enemy tank withdrawing from the fight certainly helped ;)

All,

I haven't posted any batreps in awhile, been busy with real life.  That and these batreps haven't proven to be particularly popular, so combining those two factors and adding the fact I need to get the rest of the Chunky Bandit batreps posted in order to move the story forward and get on to other things, I figured I'd post a bunch of batreps.  I hope you enjoy; a pic to refresh your memory:

Mini-Campaign Fight #19

Battle number 19?   ???
How many battles in a full campaign if a mini-campaign runs to at least 19?  :o

Glorfindel

Crackin' terrain and figures.   Well done !   Are the roads from 'Fat Frank' ?   Really like
these, the fields & the fences.

I imagine it must be very disappointing when you put a lot of effort into creating these reports
but get little feedback on the blog.  I don't think that will be an issue here though.

Great stuff,

Phil

All,

First, thanks everyone, it's good to be back, and I'm glad you all enjoyed (or will enjoy) the batreps.

Regarding my comments on the popularity of these batreps, I didn't mean it in a "woe is me" sort of way, just a statement of fact that these Operation Chunky Bandit batreps haven't enjoyed the same level of popularity (as determined by views on my blogs and comments on the various forums and blogs) as some of my other batreps, such as KG Klink, Cold War, and the Black Ops fights.  Operation Chunky Bandit started as a goofy little set of fights, then somehow expanded into this giant enterprise (somewhere around 50 fights now); it's been a lot of fun for me, but hasn't drawn as much interest as some of the other things I've done.

Hammurabi - I don't know how many fights should be in a mini-campaign (or a 'regular' campaign, for that matter!), but I know this mini-campaign went 30 fights, taking us to 56 total fights for Operation Chunky Bandit, so far (I still have some dogfights I need to play out).

Thanks, Glorfindel Phil, for the compliments on the figures and terrain, and yes, the roads are from Fat Frank.  I really love them, thinking about getting some for 6mm.

V/R,
Jack

We design for eight per player for a standard campaign and three per player for a mini-campaign.  The last campaign with estimated eleven battles per player collapsed half way through as two of the five moved away within a few months of each other.  If you are fighting solo the dynamics change. ;)

bigjackmac

Paul - Yessir, indeed it is ;)

Hammurabi - Sounds reasonable, and yes, I get away with a lot more playing solo ;)

All,

Continuing towards my closeout of the mini-campaign and Operation Chunky Bandit, I present more batreps.

This is it, Jack, your reports are always so pretty and detailed, but it's hard to find time to read them all, you're just too damn prolific! ;D

Keep up the good work, I'll get caught up to date on them eventually.  #:-S
