Hmmm, I'm warned off bacon too. But since I had some superb home-cured stuff in Wales in 1984, no other bacon has been good enough anyway.

Thick foil, such as you get around wine bottle necks, is great for making tarpaulins etc. It folds easily and has a good thickness to it to look right. Crepe bandages work well too for camo netting.

That'll be Glyndwr in Welsh or Glendower in English. The English have lots of problems with multiple consonants.
