Yeah the cards came out rather splendid, even though I was quite skeptic while placing the order.

@Mmcv: Regarding beer actually! What kind of beverages do you gents fancy? I've found my mouth savoring wheat beers, especially German ones. (Reinheitsgebot and all that!)

Also, finished all of the Somersbian archers!

Lovely work as always.

I do enjoy the odd wheat beer, though tend to prefer ales as my go to libation.

Then of course there's a lot to be said for a nice bottle of wine over dinner, with a port or a wee snifter of brandy afterwards.

Then of course a dram of a peaty single malt scotch as a nightcap...

Why am I suddenly thirsty?

P.S. This is not in any way a reflection of my actual daily drinking habits lest you think I'm some sort of Churchill/Hemingway aspirant!

Got some Archers and Officers done for Crowmoor today.

Going forward I'm going to attach a noble that has his own heraldic colours on to the command stands, which serve as representing a vassal to the corresponding realm. (And to bring more colour to the mix)

Thank you guys!

I managed to paint some Laran and Polar Fox miniatures. I gave in to the impulses and ordered a hefty bunch of these to act as special characters and such. (Sorry Ithoriel for initially refusing your suggestions)

So here we have necromancers, wizards, sorceresses, lords on griffons, witch hunters with their dimwitted servants and so on!

(I screwed up the Blue Lords base and had to make it a heavily bushy area)

Also painting yellow is a pain, hence why I'm looking for a decent yellow. Army Painter yellow hardly even covers over white basecoat...

Yellows are a pain, a second coat of yellow over the white may help
Alternatively use a tan, orange or similar as your base coat to give more depth to the yellow...
