Tsundoku is Japanese for the habit of collecting books one never reads.

On reading the article I realise that I increasingly indulge in tsunomochanoheitai ... the collecting of toy soldiers one never paints or play with!! :)

I add a third: Tsunbodogemuko - acquiring boadgames one never plays (with apologies to the Japanese language).

Thanks to our local book fair and our local library's policy of selling off books that haven't been issued in the last couple of years I am suffering from Tsundoku

Buying at book fairs means I end up with 10-15 books a time that are worth having / would be good to read some time...
