Thanks chaps :). It's healing nicely but the cut is right across the 'crease' under the little finger area of the palm, so damned hard to keep it immobile to allow it to heal, yet keep the fingers moving to help the bruising etc go!

The WW1 tank and the steam roller are both knockouts. I don't mind losing to painting that good (he lied through clenched teeth).

Hope you'll be fit and well for Colours Steve. Meanwhile found my last Pendraken unit was the SYW Prussian jaeger, so I've popped them in the comp. I still think a quality camera and photographic skills give an advantage - and of course I have neither.

Well first off some great entries already :).

Now for the bad news. Had plenty of plans for the comp, then work went ballistic with an internal move, plus the on going saga of trying to get support for our son with special needs. Just as there was some light on the horizon, I cut my hand open as it got caught between a bench I was moving and a cast iron column!!! So off to A&E where they glued it shut, only for it to open up again :(. Now on the mend but difficult to paint with one and a bit hands.

Still there's still time and I'm off for the rest of the week, so you never know...

Hope it heals quickly Steve

Take care

Andy

Eight posts and only just welcomed - we are slipping gentlemen!

Hi Geiss, welcome to the forum.

With eight posts under your belt I can maybe dispense with my usual warnings about thread derailments, hobby horses, in jokes and general weirdness (all the preceding, ours not yours!).

The forum is, as you may already have found, is generally a welcoming place and a fount of knowledge, inspiration and support.

May you enjoy your time here as much as I am!
