Their stuff's pretty good. I've posted pix of a couple recently.

Flags done for extra command groups - printed correctly after 3 attempts thanks to printer deciding to autoscale to about 54mm scale with its "helpful" software  =)

Techno

They look damn fine, Paul !!  :-bd

Very effective Paul and certainly eye catching on the table 8). It's got me thinking that they could be left on the table where a unit was 'destroyed' and then add a morale penalty of the like to a unit trying to cross them. Food for thought :).

A bit of thread necromancy......

Having a bit of time on my hands I played around in GIMP with the command stand flags that I origiinally did at the end of last year for this project and managed to get them looking much better (and they printed OK first time)

Faffing around with 3 or 4 pixel high writing ("Covenant for Religion King and Kingdom") is demanding on my older eyes, even at 400 or 800% zoom....still pleased with the results.

Yes Techno I will post some pics but have to go to work first....oh I'm already at the office  ;)

I'd missed those fantastic casualty markers first time round so thread necromancy much appreciated!  :-bd

Look forward to seeing the new flags. Does GIMP allow mm units? I've memories of using Scribus as a means of sizing such things to mm scales last year.

pierre the shy

Yes Gimp allows various measurements for fonts including mm... finding it to be very good graphics programme....and it's free!! :)

Think I used Scribus (also free) as I'd to do pages of labels and counters which was faster than GIMP, though it's not as detailed for doing stuff like flags.

Hello

People looking at flags could look at a Java application called FlagMaker (funnily enough).

It's very versatile and can import images and symbols. There is a transparent texture overlay but you need to screen cap to capture this due to copyright restrictions.

Below is one I zipped up in a jiffy as a Keep Your Distance flag.
