...'Ere....Paul.

What are the 'snips' mentioned a few posts ago ?

The 'chest feeds' on the horses ?...Or is it yet another term I'm too thick to recognise unaware of.

Cheers - Phil

Snip: a white marking on the muzzle, between the nostrils

Second right, bottom row

Paul may be using it more generally for white face markings?

There are 100 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who can work from incomplete data

Well..... :o

I've never heard them called that before *....Thanks, Mike. :)

Cheers - Some old git that has been around horses for far longer than he cares to remember.

* I'll bet Von will know that.

paulr

Thanks Ithoriel

Socks - leg markings
Blazes - top row, I tend to do first or third
Star - bottom left, I tend to do second or third
Snip - second right, bottom row, sometimes with a star

Adds a bit of variety to the horses :)

The Lancers should be done in time to give them to Pierre the Shy at our regular Saturday game, second half of an interesting 1914 ITLSU scenario Pierre put together for us :)

I'll look out Montrose's Irish Brigade of the pile Pierre dropped off last week :!!

I picked up the lancers from Paul yesterday and based them up this morning.......AFTER making Mrs Shy brekkie in bed for Mothers day  ;)

Just need to add the unit flags and flock the bases once the PVA has dried then I can take some pictures in a couple of days since the heavens are due to open here later today.

The grey horses have come out very nicely  :-bd

That will be all 12 Covenant cavalry units completed.....onto some of Montrose's stuff next....Paul is doing the Irish Brigade first since they are involved in all of Montrose's battles.
