OK here are the rest of the Scots Cavalry that Paul painted for me - 5 regiments of Covenant Horse.

I have labelled them as regiments that were present in the 1644/45 battles against Montrose as that is my first focus for their use. I also have another 5 regiments of lancers to field as many of the units raised for later battles (Carlyle, Dunbar etc) the cavalry were mainly lance armed. The beauty of the basing system we are using is that its easy to change a sabot of lancers for one of pistol armed troops if required to vary the look of a unit.

These are the last of the Scots that I have to complete at the moment. Later, once all the Cheriton forces are done, I will get Paul to put the rest of my Scots stuff in his painting queue...after Easter 2019.

Their first action will be in a "what if" version of the Battle of Rowton Heath where Leslie's Cavalry force rides South to Chester immediately after the Battle of Philiphaugh to assist Parliament in capturing the King who was besieged in Chester. The Covenant forces will replace those of Poyntz in the game itself. We are planning to play this over the Christmas break.  :)
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
we are not now that strength which in old days
moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are.
