Pierre the Shy and I certainly have embraced FK&P  Smiley

They have enabled us to game a period we have both been wanting to do for a long time

As I think I have said before they are an elegantly simple set of rules that really capture the feel of the period and are a joy to play

They are well supported by Simon & Andrew

What is now, briefly, the current batch is off the painting rods and ready to be based Smiley
(Four units of Horse and the remaining senior officers)
The bases have all been painted and labelled and shims added where ECW range officers are on the same base as LOA officers Smiley

The next batch, 2 units of Foot and 9 Light artillery bases, have replaced them on the painting rods Smiley
They were undercoated after work this evening before it got too dark Smiley

FWIW I have not been totally lax in progressing the Scots cavalry but between Christmas do's and family matters I haven't had a great deal of time to do much this week.

All seven units have bases painted, figures mounted and have been flocked.

Just need to add 5 cornets and then a coat of matt varnish to hold everything together and do then do labels for them all.

I have even come up with a fictional scenario to blood them in if Paul has time to play over Xmas....and some Royalist dragoons and foot finished.

I'm sure I can make some time over Xmas Smiley
I have Parliamentary Dragoons and quite a bit of foot from both sides, I'm sure a temporary label or two will sort the Dragoons out Wink

Next batch:
  • hats and boots high lighted Smiley
  • wood work started Smiley
  • metal work on artillery base coated Smiley

Work BBQ enjoyed Smiley
