With your method of 'quick' painting, Paul.

Do you do a 'tick sheet' for each batch, and cross off the bits you've done ?
I'm sure I'd miss loads of 'bits' from model to model, if I tried to paint as fast (and as well) as you do, Matey.

Cheers - Mr Envious. :)

I have a set of painting notes for colours etc which applies to all units

I tend to work through in the same order for all units and will do, for example all the armour for the batch, then move on to buff coats

I also use patterns where I can, two dark then one light buff coat. I also make notes/marks on the painting rod just below the figure

The bit that slows me down and sometimes means I need to go back and catch something I've missed is when doing just random colours

Using a wet palette means i often have the colour still available when I notice I've missed something

Waiting for the thunder and heavy rain to pass through so I can photograph the 'current' batch :-w

I've finished painting the 'next' batch :)
They will be washed this evening once they have had a while to dry :-w

Finished painting the sabots and officers bases for the 'next' batch :)
Have started painting the other 12 bases :!!

I need to get on with preparing the two units of foot for the next next batch :!!
The artillery is already prepared :)

I've prepared the two units of foot for the next next batch :)
They are now waiting for the 'next' batch to get off the rods; once they have been washed, final dry brushed and figure bases painted :-w

I'll assemble the artillery while I wait :!! :-w

There was a bit of a break in the weather so I grabbed some pictures of the 'current' batch :)

Lighting was not good as still a lot of cloud about so I've had to bump the exposure up 1.5 F-stops in the post processing :o

Sir William Waller's Regiment of Horse - in 3 units due to the large number of troops and troopers

I'll have to find something else to do, I used the superglue and Baking soda approach described here http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,17976.0.html

All 9 guns fully assembled in the time it used to take me to get the wheels on 2-3 :o :D :D
