Hedge bases flocked last night and touched up this morning :)

It is now a race between the day warming up (was below freezing last night) and the wind picking up (Strong northerlies developing morning) to see how much varnishing I get done :-SS

As well as varnishing the hedges I got back to the 6 units of horse I'd started and have now dry brushed most of the horses :)

You'll have to wait for the AAR report of tomorrow nights game to see how the hedges came out

I also varnished a few other things and took some piccies of them

All paints are Vallejo, the barrels are painted 995 German Grey then heavily dry brushed with 863 Gunmetal Grey and then a light dry brush of 865 Oily Steel to pick out the details

The other metal work is painted 863 Gunmetal Grey then a light dry brush of 865 Oily Steel

The carriages are painted then dry brushed with:

  • 985 Hull Red / 982 Cavalry Brown
  • 903 Intermediate Blue / 905 Blue Grey Pale
  • 875 Beige Brown / 843 Cork Brown

I use diluted Tamiya X-19 Smoke as a wash and finish with a very very light dry brush with 986 Deck Tan

I've packed my camera ;)

Base coated and dry brushed the armour and helmets (coronet's helmets only for the Scots) :)

Base coated the buff coats and Scots leather armour :)

Thanks Paul! Those are the best looking iron gun barrels I've sen, and will be doing some for my LoA Armies in the not too distant future.
