Leven Miniatures do a great range of 6mm stuff, generally very well detailed and at an excellent price:

Always my first stop for new buildings west of India.

Looks like I will be ordering from Leven, their English church and various buildings from their Medieval range :)
My wish list has crept up to 14 buildings :o

I find I do get quicker as I get more familiar with the figures
There are no more "what is that" moments with bits of detail, the ECW standard bearer's sash is a good example of that. Obvious once you see it but confusing until then :-/ :)
I also get to know the 'best' way to paint particular bits, angle the figure that way and the brush this way...

I've done the final dry brush and painted the figure bases on the current batch :)
They should be dry enough to base this evening :-w

The PVA on my test hedge looks to have soaked in and is slowly drying :-w
Needs some highlights, flock and varnish :!!

Based the current batch :)
Weather is not looking promising for varnishing for the next week :( :-w

PVA is probably dry on my test hedge and it is definitely more robust, thanks ML:)
Will highlight tomorrow when I'm sure it will be fully dry :-w

Prepared the next batch; 3 units of Dragoons and 6 Field guns :)
The figures will be going on the painting rods shortly :!!

It's strange.....Whenever Paul mentions that HIS weather is getting better.....It reminds me that in the Northern Hemisphere....Our weather is just going to get worse and worse.

Did churchyards in England during the ECW include graveyards and did they have gravestones (similar to those provided by Perfect Six) :-\

Hi Paul,
Graveyards as consecrated ground associated with a church have been around for several centuries. The use of upright gravestones (I just looked at perfect Six) I don't think came into common use until the mid to late 17th c. The PS set strikes me as 19th c gothic.
Maybe one of our English friends could go look at some  ;)
