They were Cuirassiers earlier in the war but it seems likely that after Roundway Down they were re-equipped as harquebusiers

They are rated as well-mounted veterans which still gives them plenty of punch

As part of this project I'm going to need some ECW era buildings

Can anyone suggest a good source of suitable 6mm scale buildings

(As an aside, Pendraken's 19th Century American 10mm are very good in my opinion - I just wish the same manufacturer that Pendraken get their buildings from did Black Powder buildings in the same quality)
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

I also need to upgrade my hedges as part of this project :-\

I'm using a 15cm grid and none of the commercial hedges seem to fit. The very nice Pendraken ones for example are 80mm long ~X(

I have quite a bit of clump foliage left over from another couple of projects so am experimenting with possibly making my own :-\

I've seen some comments about coating clump foliage with dilute PVA to make it more robust, what is the collective view on this?

My view is yes, I do that all the time. Attach with dilute pva, soak in dilute pva, leave at least 24 hours, varnish with matt spray.

About 50/50 is best, but first time you do that you'll think it's awful. You want the consistency of runny cream rather than syrup...

More water = longer drying time. It might be worth pinning the tufts in place as they dry too.
