Just to be different one of the next regiments will be all in red....the 1650 era Kings lifeguard of foote which fought at Dunbar and Worcester.
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
we are not now that strength which in old days
moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are.

I don't mind the hodden units they paint up pretty fast ;)

As will an all red unit, its the variety that takes the time ;)

Officers' jackets dry brushed in not grey :)

Hodden grey dry brushed :)

Officers' trousers painted various browns :)
You'd be worried as well if you were commanding this lot

I collected the first lot Paul finished last week but been off the grid for a few days.

Back now so I will try and base them in the next couple of days hopefully......talking of stripy rascals I am supposed to be looking at getting a rehomed tabby cat with my daughter tomorrow - can't see myself talking my way out of that in a hurry  ;)

I see the next lot are almost ready so I better get a move on....and do the pikes for the last 3 regiments too  :-w :-w :-w

All the Highlanders had a wash in warm water so are ready for the painting queue - will be handing them over tonight.

I've only finished one regiment so far Techno, but I can't post pics here since I didn't use any PM figures for the Covenanter regiments......have to be in non-Pendraken stuff thread once done.

I am not planning on staying up all night watching the game anyway.....got to go to work early tomorrow.
