Iíve found/created a suitable sign for the pub that will be part of Hinton Ampner in the Cheriton game

Not the Hinton Arms, the only pictures I can find for itís pub sign are of a Gent in a fairly modern suit Sad
Not The Flower Pot in Cheriton, again far too modern Sad

Iíve settled on The Fox from nearby Bramdean and a suitably vintage sign Smiley

Hi

It's a shame that the Hinton Hunt logos are also anachronistic or you could have recycled those for your inn sign  Cheesy Cheesy.

Hope The Fox is well stocked and open all hours....plenty of potential customers in the area back in 1644  Smiley

I'm sure it will be, shame it is among the Parliamentary forces Wink
St Michael & All Angels in Cheriton will also be 'open', it is closer to the Royalists Wink

That's what the landlord of the pub that sponsored our football team used to say  Smiley

We often had a choice, shower or last orders at the pub  Evil Evil Evil

They did get washed last night which meant they had their final dry brush and figure bases painted this morning Smiley Smiley

A very productive day:

  • two batches of hedges have been soaked in dilute PVA Smiley
  • two more batches of hedge bases cut and glued Smiley
  • another batch of hedge bases glued and painted Smiley
