Finished basing and flocking the remaining 5 units of highlanders.....McGregors, Lamonts, MacDonald of Clanranald, Patrick Graham of Inchbrakie and Campbell of Lochnell as well as 10 Covenant brigade command stands for Dunbar. Just need to add grass clumps to them all now.

Started on cutting 100 x 30mm "pin pikes" to attach to open handed pike figures of the 6 remaining Covenant regiments which is pretty labour intensive so in between I have also basing up some 28mm Medieval German City Guard crossbows and spear elements as part of an allied contingent for a 12th century Swedish Leidang DBMM army for Saturday's game.

In order to give some veirity to the hodden grey hordes two of these will be in red coats - The Kings Footguards (which at first glance seems at best improbable for the Covenant, but events in Scotland during 1650 were to prove at least improbable  ) and Humes Regiment which my have worn red coats while serving in Ireland in 1644/5. Also makes them as possibly passable stand-ins for some of the government regiments at Killiecrankie in 1689 during the first Jacobite uprising (?!?) 

Almost finished writing up my Alford scenario to send off for DGuy to review/play.
