I never really knew much about the Korean War but, having just watched
"American Experience: Battle of Chosin" on Netflix, it has sparked an
interest.

Its quite a harrowing film but well worth it if you want to see what it was
like during the US Marines' winter retreat in 1950.   It certainly made
me want to read more about this conflict and add (yet) another
period to the future Pendraken hit list...

Pretty sure I watched this earlier in the year. Loads of great footage and boy did it look cold there!

Indeed; my next project.  What have you done on the topic since watching this?

The early battles of the KPA invasion and the stand on the Pusan perimeter make for some really good table top games with BKC.

I have used N gauge tunnel hills with tunnels blocked of as  mountains - either back drop or even a narrow pass.

If you want "mountain battles", as in the case of "forests" of 20 trees,  the mountains can be token inclines to allow troop stands.
UN aircover depending on weather dice makes a good "Battle of the Bulge" factor.

Task Force Smith is an excellent introduction game.  :)   Is it still included in CWC ?

Yes but I am interested in what you thought the right colour for South Korean uniforms was.

No clue! Osprey appears to be blue...  :o
I thought they used US WW2 castoffs?

Ah!  I do NOT cherish but confess my ignorance; I guess it makes it easier that all I have to do then is use my WWII US paints.
