Just watched "The Duellists" again ... and was struck by the charms of Diana Quick.

She has the best line in the film. She visit Harvey Keitel who says  (and I paraphrase)
"I knew a man who was stabbed to death by a woman. He was very surprised."

Diana's rejoinder
"I knew a woman who was beaten to death by a man. She was not in the least surprised."  

Cracking film. Highly recommended.

One of my favourite films too. Beautiful Diana Quick in a small but important role. I like also when she writes farewell on the saber, saying subtle that he prefers the sword than her.

The music of Howard Blake is also a master piece. A classic:
