If you are looking fro info on early war French armor and soft vehicles I do not think here is one better than "Peintures de Guerre, un Siecle de Camouflage de L'Armee Francaise" by Pascal Danjou and Thomas Seigon. It cover WWI and WWII...and after, and has text, color pictures and paint charts. There is a bi-lingual edition which is in both French and English. For me it is a must have book and I enjoy just looking through it.

Unless you really want a book, the web is replete with this kind of stuff.  Try these for a start.
