1) What ruleset do you use in your last game? -  A Hundred Circling Camps
2) What armies were confronted? -  Geen-yu-ine Sutth'n Gen'lm'n and Dam' Yankees
3) Did you feel comfortable with the ruleset? - Yup
4) and... was this the first time you used this ruleset? -  Nope
5) How many players were in the game? - Two

The new:
6) What went well?  Got off a broadside from naval support early on and took out US c-in-c with a very lucky shot
7) What could have been improved? -  Everything else. It's very useful to have a spotter balloon, as the Union did. The South will not be capturing New York this season. :(

1) What ruleset do you use in your last game? - Rebels & Patriots
2) What armies were confronted? - AWI British and Americans
3) Did you feel comfortable with the ruleset? - In the playtest stage, but all pretty familiar
4) and... was this the first time you used this ruleset? - Yes
5) How many players were in the game? - Solo
6) What went well? - The British tactics.
7) What could have been improved? - As the rules and scenarios are still being developed, some minor tweaks here and there.

So 2 games so far and very impressed with what I've seen. Nice excuse to move on with my AWI forces as they stalled last year.

Ace of Spades

1) What ruleset do you use in your last game? -            Muskets & Tomahawks
2) What armies were confronted? -                              French against British
3) Did you feel comfortable with the ruleset? -              We're starting to get the hang of it...
4) and... was this the first time you used this ruleset? -  Not for me although still very green; for the other guys it was the first time
5) How many players were in the game? -                    3 in total; the other two playing the French side; me the British

The new:
6) What went well?                                                    The French actions in general...  :(
7) What could have been improved?                            Most on my part; main lesson learned: the fact thet regulars are solid and can hold their ground despite horrific losses doesn't mean they should... pulling back would have been much better really. Just as attacking bloodthirsty Indians in a melee to try and expel them from a house... not very smart either.

Cheers,
Rob

3) Yes very
4) Not for me, my opponent yes but he has played CWC quite a few times.
5) 2
6) Plated well
7) Krvak, Orc's proved rather brittle, and hard to get moving.

Still, I enjoyed it as the Orc player.

1) What ruleset do you use in your last game? - Mortiem et Gloriam
2) What armies were confronted? - Mid Republican Roman vs GrecoBactrian
3) Did you feel comfortable with the ruleset? - utterly
4) and... was this the first time you used this ruleset? - nope
5) How many players were in the game? - two
6) What went well? Legions vs Pikes, he killed one unit, I killed one unit. Charging lancers with Legionaries to avoid his elephants. Cretans shooting away a spear block. Triarii. Elephants out numbered 3:1 holding off Catafracts on their own. Flank charging his elephants to win the game!
7) What could have been improved? Charging Catafracts with legionaries. Hand to hand with another legion vs Pikes.

A big win for Rome, 15-6

FierceKitty

1) What ruleset do you use in your last game? -  Ten More Sons!
2) What armies were confronted? -  Ming Chinese vs Ava Burmese
3) Did you feel comfortable with the ruleset? -  Very, apart from being out of practice with the more obscure Chinese firearms
4) and... was this the first time you used this ruleset? -  Far from it
5) How many players were in the game? - Two
6) What went well? - I did win. Burmese elephants shot to bits, and we held most attacks effectively, even by their better troops.
7) What could have been improved? - Off-table flank march caused me some trouble, and a unit of routed Burmese cavalry rallied and returned to the fight, with unwelcome results. These were not flaws in the rules, however. I have been reminded that I need to make a few cheat sheets for ease of play. Also bothered that the Burmese have yet to win a battle.
