Bugger, glad you managed to save most of it #

There's a forum member calling himself that name? Someone's out and proud!
I don't drink coffee to wake up. I wake up to drink coffee.

Kiwi usage is a bit different, apologies if any offended

buggerUsage similar to "damn". Made famous (or infamous) in the 1999 Toyota vehicle ads. https://www.nzonscreen.com/embed/e5a6a7f7ecc8f2f9
The original meaning is seldom used in New Zealand. The term can also be used to refer to a person, e.g. "he's a cheeky little bugger."
bugger allNot much; very little. "I've got bugger all money left after the weekend."
bugger off   Go away. Same as piss off.
buggered   Exhausted; tired. "I'm buggered."
Broken. "It's completely buggered."
An expression of surprise or amazement. "Well I'll be bugger."

I know. But who could resist the opportunity! Just playing silly Bulgars (who, by the way, are in fact the origin of the term - part of a Byzantine defamation campaign against the Bogomil heresy).

Now, should we establish a figure scale ratio?
How many 10mm is a 28mm worth? ;)

No problem there, everything on my list is 28 mm  ;D

But since you ask, a model is a model , no matter what scale.

Duke Speedy of Leighton

Phew, that's alright then!

239, soon to be 340, then 370 by Friday night...

Bugger: One who exterminates insects as in "The Bugger should arrive at 10am, be sure the cat's water dish is covered."
Encumbered by Idjits, we pressed on

Should really start painting pirates, just can't get myself going on the painting front.  =)

petercooman

Made some good progress on the pirates. Most of the clothing has been painted. Now need to do hair, skin, belts and weapons.

I'll be happy when they are finished. Looking forward to painting some uniformed troops. Takes a whole lot longer painting irregulars!

Actually, thinking about it, except for the marines, I have painted nothing but irregulars since the start of the christmass break!
