So, I had lined up the pirates yesterday, determined to finish that project, and an hour ago I jus shoved them to the side and started painting the mortars

In other news, just dunked a full pot of agrax earthshade over the kitchen table. Managed to get most of it back in the pot with a syringe though!

Not going as smoothly as last year!

Aren't privateers "official" pirates - given a commission or letter by a government?

Pirates are just naughty chaps.  


Alternatively "pirates" are what an American charges for a pizza and "privateers" are what you whisper secrets into.

A letter marque. For me they will probably be spanish privateers, gives them a reason to have a go at my british!
