Managed to paint the board black. Hopefully i can get it finished this evening!

Now to decide if i paint it completely in grey tones or make a garden or 2.

Got the basic paintjob done.

I'll try to do some detailing/weathering later. maybe road markings.

Taking forever for the pic to show.  :(

Thanks all!

I'll have to blend a bit where the two boards come togheter. One side is considerably lighter on the pavement.

Went a little overboard with the weathering  ~X( ~X(

Guess it'll have to do. A post apoc board needs to look scruffy anyway!

Yeah, once you get a game going all that "overdone" weathering will fade into the background.

I was thinking more like, once i fill the streets with rubbish and abandoned cars  ;D ;D

So, still unhappy with my city board, i decided to make a last ditch attempt to 'make it right' for me, and applied a heavy wash on the street, to tie it all in. (was not that exited to do a wash on a cardboard surface, that's why i didn't do it immediately, but i thought what the heck i'll see how it goes)

So far i'm pretty satisfied! i'll report back when it's fully dry!

petercooman

Ok boys, it's a wrap!

Pretty happy with it now! MAde myself a quick stencil out of paper, and drybrushed some lines on the road, makes it pop IMHO.

On to the next project!!
