AH gotcha. I thought You wanted them for scenery purpose!

For rockets the micro wings typhoon had a bunch, and was pretty cheap at 2£ i believe!

You've got it  :-bd

I got a brace of ebay Tempests for same purpose. A couple of rockets and a few empty racks gives the optic desired.

I am looking for a post war modification for BKC airsupport that factors in "loiter on drop tanks" that allows aircraft to be tasked over the table for a few turns.  So you end up with (a) scheduled, (b) requested by FOO and (c) discretionary/opportunist strike.   Now (c) could go wrong - and we end up with "blue on blue" !  :-

A strong possibility if the aircraft  are American........

Hello

You could use OzMods but then the rockets would probably be more expensive than the aircraft  :)

If it was me, I'd glue some velcro to the underside of the wing and use pipe cleaners but then I'm a bit of a minimalist  :D

(Then you can swap the rockets around to where they are needed.)

Thanks for the links guys - There is little worse in a game than air support with no ordnance. I've stripped kits left right and centre to make a decent single plane that looks "serious".

What is truly bizarre is that (as I try to assemble my Falklands forces) no one makes a proper Harrier GR3.

Hello Dr Dave

Depends on how much you want pay :). One by FoxOne available from HLJ

Revell had a reissue of a Crown kit but they are hard to find now.

Thanks for that - but it is a bit pricey at ~ £20?   :-

The Crown / Revell kit is actually a GR.1 despite the title. I have one and I'm pondering giving it a nose job to make it more of a GR.3.

Yep, it's a pretty straightforward conversion.  ;)

There are some strange omissions in the various 1/144 offerings. Be assured that as soon as you have finished your painstakingly converted GR.3 or decided to break the piggy ofr a Fox One model, F-Toys will bring out a cheap and accurate GR.3. ;D

Hi

Saw that miniwing had done a Strikemaster in 1/144 so I thought I'd drop a link here - https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/MINI321 and https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/MINI322

Sorry if it's already posted anywhere.

That is a lovely kit. Is it one of yours or the publicity photo?

For some reason, I now crave Doritos and Toblerone.  :-\

No, not one of mine, there is definitely no polystyrene glue thumbprint of yours truly on the cockpit canopy  :-[ :-[

Ah! I make sure all my kits are similarly given a mark of authenticity.  :)
