Welcome to the Pendraken Miniatures newsletter!

It's been a hectic couple of months since our last missive as we've been up and down the country at the shows as well as making some progress on releases and more.  So let's get into it!

Christmas Order Deadlines!

For those who've spent the past few months trying to avoid it (including us!), Christmas is only 6 weeks away now so it's time to start thinking about what you'd like to have under that tree on Christmas morning.  Of course there's nothing better than a suspiciously heavy box of 10mm goodness, so make sure to get your orders placed before the deadlines!

Paint Off 2017!

Forum member mad lemmey has kindly offered to run a 'Paint Off' competition this year as we weren't able to run the annual contest back in February.  You can make your entries throughout November and at the end of the month the winners will be chosen by the Forum members in a public vote.  There aren't any prizes on offer but it's a nice opportunity to show off your painting, or motivate yourself to get the basing done on that unit you've had sitting on the desk for the past 18 months...!  All of the info and entry threads can be found on the Forum here.

Latest Releases!

> LoA/WSS - Clib's done some conversion work to give us some command in tricorns and dragoons in fur hats.

> 1860's Austrians - We've revamped the Jager and Grenzer sculpts.

> Spray Varnish - We've taken over the range of spray varnishes formerly sold by Figures in Comfort.

In The Pipeline!

We don't have any pics of new goodies this month, but there'll be some coming very soon.  We're making some headway on some new releases, including:
- Napoleonic Brunswickers: We've got one more mould to be done for these guys and then we can get them photo'd and released.
- Aztecs: The sculpts for this range have all arrived with us and we're just doing some checks with Fierce Kitty to make sure we know what's what.  Once that's done we'll get them photo'd for everyone to see.
- Indian Mutiny: The mutineers have all arrived from the sculptor so we'll get them photo'd this coming week for everyone to see.

Shows!

There are only two shows left for 2017, so we'll be heading down to Reading next weekend for the Warfare 2-day event.  The pre-order deadline for this one has passed now, but if there was something you were wanting to collect then drop us an email and we'll see if we can get it done in time for you.

After that, it's our very own Battleground show, taking place on Saturday 25th November up here in the north-east.  If you've ever wondered about giving it a go, then this year we're tempting you even further with Free Entry so get yourself along!  And if you'd like anything bringing along to this one, please make sure to let us know by Friday 17th please.

Website Photos!

This month we've had the SYW ranges all completed by the talented kev1964 and what a cracking job he's done on them!  Head over and have a look at the:

- SYW French
- SYW Hanoverians (currently in blue but will be getting changed to red!)
- SYW Misc

BKC-III!

Just to update everyone, we travelled over to Burnley on Tuesday night and spent Wednesday with Forum member sultanbev, who writes the MicroMark army lists.  With the help of his extensive library, we worked through all of the lists and tidied up any queries, so we can draw a line under those now.

Next up is the rules queries themselves.  So far we've not been able to assemble a group of people to work through these with, so currently we're going to have to do it online unfortunately.  This method will still work, but it drags out the timescales as we'll need to wait for people to reply and respond to each point raised.  We're still exploring the options for a group session, so we'll update if we manage to sort that out.

John at Ironclad Miniatures does all of our resin production so for anyone gaming in other scales, he's currently running a 20% Off sale until midnight on Friday 17th.
