Once again, lovely looking figures! As to having more than actually deployed - we like what we like! Every ECW player I ever know has five times as many currissiers than were ever in use.  :)

Had a chat with Paul tonight about what we are going to do at this years Call to Arms Convention here in Wellington which is coming up in August.

A couple of years ago Paul put together a very well received AWI game (Cowpens IIRC) so this year we agreed that day one would be another AWI game featuring his new toys.

Day two is down to me - a quick look on my hard drive and I found a scenario I wrote up a while ago featuring Operation Vigorous - an unsuccessful attempt to run a convoy to Malta from Alexandra in June 1942. Can our newly printed merchant ships that we have received from Aksu survive the run through "Bomb Alley" and escape the attentions of the Italian Navy to arrive safely in Malta?....we'll just have to play the game to find out. Looks like my shipyard will be doing overtime to get all the ships I need ready in time.....there are quite a few  ;)
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
we are not now that strength which in old days
moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are.

It was indeed Cowpens :)

I better crack on with the painting then :!! :)
