I've cleaned up the American generals, artillery and one of the light battalion

Figures are currently drying after their wash and will hopefully be undercoated this evening :-w :!!

Yes, I know I said I'd start with the British but this should encourage me to finish the uniform research for the Americans ;)

Caught up with Paul briefly after work today and he showed me the progress on the first batch.

I'm sure you won't have to wait too long for completion  ;)

Progress continues :)
Not quite at the pace Techno would like ;)

All small clothes and trousers done :)

Musket stocks & barrels and officer's swords done :)

For this project I'm using a wet pallet, something I haven't tried before
It is working very well, the musket barrels were painted with paint left over from the artillery's iron work which had been sitting on the palette for two days :) :)
This is going to make painting during the summer much easier :)

It is also very helpful when you spot something you missed, the paint is still on the palette :)

Most facings & turnbacks done :)

Slow process with a mix of different facings & turnbacks even in the same companies :-B

Four companies left to finish as it got too hot to paint #:-S
31 degrees C, 88 F, meant the paint was drying on the brush ~X(

Hope the painting is going well.

Think l will nominate Paul for title of largest emoji user for 2017 on the forum, with an honorable mention for Techno as runner up....
