Five different facing colours done for the eight different companies :)

Skin base coated :) They look a bit light #-o

Last weekend we christened most of the figures painted so far in this project, a brief battle report is here http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,16966.msg253501.html#msg253501

Lazurn's Legion will have to wait until I finish the British reinforcements that came with Major General William Phillips, only the two Light battalions left to do :!!

Details finished on 1st Light Battalion and touch ups done :)

1st Light Battalion sorted ready for basing, part of each company appears on the main bases, part on the detachment bases :-B @-)

This made room for the 2nd Light Battalion which was promptly undercoated :)

2nd Light Battalion's coats dry brushed and trousers done :)

The weather didn't turn out as badly as forecast, there was a lull in the wind early this morning, long enough for varnishing :)

It was scattered cloud this afternoon which meant the exposures varied wildly on these picces

British 1st Light Battalion
Light companies 4th, 7th, 15th, 17th, 23rd, 27th, 33rd, and 38th Foot





The same battalion again, this time as detachments that can skirmish





With the commanders already painted the battalions as detachments will allow me to field two brigades rather than just one but does mean that one of the brigades can't skirmish.
This is also one more Light brigade than the British actually had in America ;)
