It's a colourised photo. Could explain the odd hues.

This Panther in Bovington is IIRC late war, when the Germans were running out of paint.

Wise words. The Bovington light blue Matilda was a disgrace! Even some of the images posted here are clearly very very odd.

We have some original German kit that's never been repainted or dumped outside to bleach in the sun. For my own money it's Vallejo mid stone as the mid war base colour.
