Now that the artillery pieces have arrived for the 1860 Italians, we can get those into the moulding system for release and move on to our next major project!  The Indian Mutiny has been at the top of the requests list for some time now so it's going to be good to get this range developed.  This is the list we've sent off to our sculptor to get us started and there's quite a comprehensive set of figures here.  We need to add some civilians in as well but that should be about it.  Timescales on this will be into 2018, hopefully before Salute.

Oh crumbs. Now all we need is a BBB wallah to come up with some scenarios and I may be hooked - although the Boer War is still floating around at the back of my brain.

Too late - the scenarios are all written and in advanced playtesting! Dr Mark Smith has created a collection for Wars in India, including the Mutiny, Sikh Wars, and others. These have produced some terrific games with fascinating match-ups between very different opponents. The set will almost certainly be the next BBB book, for publication probably mid-2018. There's one sample Sikh Wars scenario in the BBB Yahoo group files.

Looks like more lead will be bought. Cheers Chris - in the right way of course.

Damn you Chris Pringle ;). Really looking forward to the next book, but not sure if my lead mountain could sustain another addition, without collapsing the attic!

Hmmm...this might just be very tempting... No wait; this already IS very tempting; this might be a new project! No...wait... :'(

These are definitely going to make their way down to Tasmania in force. I'm already thinking about a couple of elephants to pull the siege guns. Nice list too - everything that you need to put some decent armies together.

I fear that the ACW project will definitely go on the back burner when the Indian Mutiny range appears: the only thing possibly missing are some civilians.   Pity they weren't available at Salute as originally intended but it is a law of nature that things "go right".  Many thanks to all on the stand at Salute who helped No1 son to collect the goodies and please announce loud and clear when the Indian Mutiny figures can be ordered as I would like to take some on holiday with me to paint.

I'm really looking forward to this range, and will most likely buy loads of it!
Any idea about a release date yet? Pre- of post-brexit, for example?
