I was very fortunate to get to Normandy for a couple of days in 2015 with Mrs Shy.

There is lots to see and do there. I found Omaha beach and the large US cemetary above the beach quite a moving experience.

My main reason for going though was to find where my fathers LCT came ashore on Nan Red with the first wave. We located the exact spot in the end without too much trouble.

So we (well l did anyway 😀) had a great couple of days.

Have a good trip Dave ☺

Great place to visit Dave. I went with a group in 2012 and had a very enjoyable and interesting visit, particularly Pegasus Bridge and Omaha Beach. Don't forget the Bayeux Tapestry and the great food and drink - especially Calvados.
