Georgian Carved Altar Screen from Tsebelda church, Georgian National Museum, 9th-10th centuries.
At top centre is a damaged crucifixion scene. Below this are guards at the sepulchre, one with a large round turban, spear and small round shield.
On the left is St. Peter and the crowing cock. Below this St. Peter is crucified upside-down.
On the right, perhaps, the holy spirit as as dove descends onto a man blessed or baptised by another accompanied by angels.
Below is St. Eustace Placidus hunting on the Georgian Carved Altar Screen from Tsebelda.
