So far this year my painting has been almost solely 6mm Napoleonics, during which period I have managed to paint a couple of 28mm figures for a change. I'm trying extremely hard to remain focussed on one project at a time, the problem i have at the moment is that I have significantly over ordered for the 6mm Napoleonics and don't want to admit it and stop. Mind you, apart from the foray into 10mm AWI this weekend I've been very disciplined and not strayed too far from the path. ;D

There is only one reason: time.  I only have a number of hours that I can dedicate to the hobby, and I have several projects running, attention is switching between these depending on a lot of factors:

  • RuneQuest Battles where I am making a Tarsh army in 10 mm, and have to make a Sartar army in 10 mm after that, + 10 mm terrain.
  • Shock troop Sci Fi skirmish for which I still have to paint one of the forces, the Spriggans, and loads of Sci Fi Terrain.
  • Runequest RPG: a never ending queue of adventurers, monsters, and VIPs for RQ.
  • D-Day: a new project for which I have to paint 10 mm Germans and 10 mm US + terrain using BKC: this will most likely expand as it goes along.

And then I have my weekly ACW game, of course.  At the moment we're recreating the battle of chickamauga, a big battle, and after 4 evenings we're early morning of day 2, Bragg will arrive at 7 am and things are getting interesting.
