Just had a chance to read the report :)

One thought, given you are aiming this to be a participation game, is the benefit of adding the Jagers and Skirmishers worth the added 'complexity' for players unfamiliar with the rules / new to gaming :-\

Thanks for the replies chaps :).

Paul, the plan is that any participants concentrate on manouevering their forces, saying what they want to shoot at etc, with us then telling them how far they can move, what the outcome of the shooting die roll is etc. That way they do not have to worry about a unit having skirmishers or not. We can give advice if and when required or almost pause the action to explain some options on what they could do next. That's the plan but whether it works or not remains to be seen.
