Amazing stuff.

Wouldn't mind a close up on the ratlings, if you get the chance.

petercooman

Don't know if they'll be much to look at up close  ;D

Well, they are ratlings so there isn't much there close up or no  ;D

Nice work on what little surface area there was to paint.

You are certainly reducing your lead pile quickly. Very nice work

Take care

Spent most of the week rebasing and touching up old mage knight models (and a few others).

I wanted to have a bunch of models that the kids wouldn't trash if we ever got to Song of blade and heroes /d&d , so the prepainted bendy models looked fine. I have a ton of them anyway, so i just picked the ones i liked/needed and put the remaining few hundred back in the closet  ;D ;D

Pictures are a bit off, but too late to retake them!

First off, the ones that i painted completely (you will see these again in the next pictures too):

some mage knight metals and two battle masters goblins on spare gw wolves

i also based up a reaper drider that has been painted a while ago, but was base-less

some characters/ evil dudes

miscellaneous monsters

Some forest dwellers

some lizardmen

undead/vampires

half trolls

some high elves

a cavalry option for both of the above

some big nasties (the ape demon is again a reaper modes i still had to base)

a techno mage and his constructs

ogres and a minotaur (only the right ogre is from mage knight, the other two are again reaper models that had been waiting for a base)

trolls

dragon people

So this gives me some good models for song of blades and heroes, at minimal cost.

but although i mostly did bases, i can also add 5 to the tally!

So: 562 models finished!!

Been a while since i finished something, but still werking on various things.

Today, I got out the airbrush:

Finished the tanks just now. I had 3 tanks that were painted before these, but still unfinished without decals. Since i have changed to vallejo paints, the older tanks are a little bit different, as the shades don't completely match.  However it isn't that noticeable 'in the flesh' as it looks on picture!

the whole bunch, the tanks with the old camo colour in the back.(with an extra multilaser turret to use a hellhound as a chimera)

The hellhounds

a chimera (right) and the hellhound with the chimera turret

standard leman russes (these were painted with old colours)

a vanquisher (right) and a demolisher

an earthshaker (right) and an exterminator. the earthshaker was the first painted tank many years ago.

So, going to count these as 9 finished models, as those 3 old ones  were only partly finished:

So 571 models finished!

Looking good!  :-bd
I used to have a boxful of those old Mage Knight figures that I disposed of because "I didn't have a use for them". Then Frostgrave came along and I could have kicked myself up the proverbrial.  ~X(
