Shell Holes

Not sure whether to base them or just leave them loose.

If you base them,I would try to get them on very thin bases. Some steel ones or something. IMHO I think mdf bases will make them "rise" too much.

Good looking game, like the craters as they are.

The game looks very impressive. I would also not base the shell holes

Take care

Thanks all. I'm pleased with the table setup, and the colourful armies always look good.

The gaming butterfly flaps its wings again!!

A couple of weeks, another game, another scale...

For some reason* I have decided to build 8th Army in 15mm for the early part of the North African campaign. I already have an army for this in 10mm (of course!) and have some 28mm figures too. The best reason I have is that my mate has 15mm Italians, and I fancied building some plastic tanks.

First platoon of infantry, and lots of support options painted and nearly based.

And lots of tanks, all tin cans with pea shooters!!

I have made very good use of a can of Portland Stone spray paint from Monster Paints.

Hello

The pics of the 8th Army didn't show up for me. Do you have a Google privacy setting or something?

Cheers

Odd, I saw them when I was at work earlier.  Now that I'm at home I don't see them either.

fred.

Odd. They don't show for me on my iPad either.

I don't think I have changed any Google Photos settings.
