Sure was it not the Celtic monks who were doing their utmost to keep literature and civilisation alive while the Angles, Danes and Saxons were busy beating each other over the head?

What am I going to do with two packs of Copplestone 28mm Penguins I just found?

What kind of penguins?  Makes a lot of difference  :-B

First stage on BUA's done for my Italian buildings from Leven Miniatures.

Duke Speedy of Leighton

28mm x 16 penguins, 3 ancient fantasy figures (ie pre-slotta gw) and 8 bases of 10mm Tomb Guards built today.

Artillery units finished and lacquer applied to the railway mat I use as base for my BUA's. It stops it shedding material and allows me to add grit etc without it getting caught in the 'texture'.

O Dinas Powys

Two of my offspring are now the proud owners of WH40K starter sets, so we've been slowly snipping out and gluing space marines, plague zombies, mephitic bloat drones, dreadnoughts and the like: the zombies are especially dangerous - lots of needle-sharp, spikey bits  :'(
(I know, even though it's fantasy  :o  ;)  )

Duke Speedy of Leighton

Mortal Gods Athenians done apart from shields and basing materials.

10mm Egyptians nearly done.
