Duke Speedy of Leighton

Spent last night painting 6 figures, following Dougie's camo schemes...
They look bloody good, but I'm glad they are 28mm

100+ 10mm Bronze age Libyans base coated and inked (lots of flesh tones).
3 15mm samurai lancers that I had missed base coated and inked.
18 15mm ashugau spears started.
In 28mm, 2 survivors and 6 zombies base coated and inked too.

Nearly all done on these batches, just flesh and bamboo on the 15mm Japanese , and tidying up of the 10mm Libyans

Scratch built bridge painted and flocked last night.

Duke Speedy of Leighton

Assuming it's the bridge bastions that were flocked?

Yep Will, the dirt bastions flocked.

Heading through the 1000 figure for the year mark with this next batch of figures, I decided I needed to do something for myself, as well as final set of the 150+ samurai that I am awaiting the transfers for.
So, I've assembled 2 bases for Warband, got 4 more out that are undercoated. I have also assembled something else that I've been putting off for an age.

Did half a dozen new road strips; one of those dull projects that one keeps postponing.
I don't drink coffee to wake up. I wake up to drink coffee.

Tell me about it, got two packs of Timecast fields that I keep ignoring.

No painting for some time, but plenty of basing of figures for forthcoming projects. So tonight I finished basing the last units to give me a core German infantry battalion for early war. Then it's just a case of adding to it for late war, plus the small challenge of painting them!

Duke Speedy of Leighton

Last night was woodwork, tonight was white, especially on sashimo banners, which almost did me in.
