Making progress with the last Tlaxcalans (sword and buckler troops with an American accent). Things were delayed for a few days by either a bloom of the black undercoat through some of the lighter colours, or - just a suspicion - by a cockroach's eating off some of the paint.

It's a tricky job, getting transfers onto 10mm shields! By way of compensation, they do look rather good. Palatine legions to follow, then it'll be time for a few Visigoth and Frank allies trying to stop the Hun peril.
