Making progress with the last Tlaxcalans (sword and buckler troops with an American accent). Things were delayed for a few days by either a bloom of the black undercoat through some of the lighter colours, or - just a suspicion - by a cockroach's eating off some of the paint.

Just assembled the packs that make up the Gangs of Rome slave mob.
Salvé Grummio...

And spent 4 hours today painting Mitanni and Sea Peoples/Sheridans

Undercoats and base coats done on (10mm) 140 more sea peoples and 8 Mitanni archer I missed, and about a dozen Frostgrave 28mm skeletons.

It's a tricky job, getting transfers onto 10mm shields! By way of compensation, they do look rather good. Palatine legions to follow, then it'll be time for a few Visigoth and Frank allies trying to stop the Hun peril.
